Sheila Owens, COTA/L
Sheila Owens has worked as a certified occupational therapy assistant for 16 years, working primarily in pediatrics. She has worked in the school system, home health, and as an Early Intervention specialist. She holds degrees from Adventist University and Rollins and is currently completing her master’s degree at University of St. Augustine. She has two sons, ages 31 and four.
“Instilling qualities of resiliency, independence, creativity, and caring in children through the process of sensory integration is my passion. I focus on the whole child, promoting a supportive environment and collaboration between therapists and parents for successful treatment outcomes.”
