LifeSkills Therapy Staff
Our mission is to provide quality occupational and speech/language therapies, to be a model center for sensory integration treatment and evaluations, and to continually foster understanding of processing disorders.
Occupational Therapists Sandra Wainman and Suzanne Wilkinson founded LifeSkills in 1993. It is one of, if not the, first clinic of its kind in metropolitan Orlando, Florida specifically for children diagnosed with sensory processing disorders. Services include: occupational, speech, oral motor and equine therapies, and digital auditory aerobics.
The clinic is located in Winter Park, near the intersection of State Road 436 and Aloma Avenue (426). Presently, treatment is also offered at the Celebration Montessori School, and is available to both students and non-students, year-round.
In addition to a history of working to help countless numbers of children and their families through its clinical services, LifeSkills also established two sensory-based ancillary programs, which now continue through outside organizations: a standalone school, and, a therapeutic equipment specialty line of products.
